1. I have to report four further defalcations by the Radio shroff Chan Yik Shing.

On the 4th November a cheque for $686.50 from Chase Bank was paid into Hong Kong & Shanghai Bank to the Radio Office

account.

On 6th November a cheque for $87.22 from Imperial Chemical Industries (China) Ltd. was paid in.

On 7th November a cashier's order for $503.16 from the

Banque Franco Chinoise was paid in.

On 9th November a cheque for $159.96 from Osaka Shosen

Kaisha.

2. These che ques were all enumerated in the paying-in slips signed by the Assistant Accountant, Mr. Reed. The books were never posted up, however, and the defalcations only come to light when a second demand for payment was addressed to

the Banque Franco Chinoise.

3. The shroff appears to have paid the cheques in against cash and withdrawn cash correspondingly.
